Classificando todos estes filmes em fases como no universo cinematográfico Marvel, pode ser criada uma nova continuidade que é realmente completada com a linha do tempo animada DC .

Esta continuidade segue os super-heróis DC desde as suas origens 'até à saga Flashpoint . Após o enredo Flashpoint pode ser continuado ao longo da linha temporal anterior que leva à queda da Liga da Justiça e finalmente termina em The Dark Knight Returns ou iniciar a nova linha temporal a partir de Man of Tomorrow , The Long Halloween e outros filmes animados originais DC que se avizinham. All other standalone films or all animated films that belong to their own universe may be consequence of the Flashpoint and that leads to the creation of many alternate universes - DC multiverse .
