Who is better - Virat Kohli or Joe Root?

It has been most debatable question over years and it has become more prominent to answer this since these two have took over their respective captaincy roles.

Before going to actual answer let me tell you few things.

1. All stats are updated till 23rd AUGUST 2018.
2. Both are fantastic players and backbone for their respective sides.
3. Future skippers and trend setters.
4. I am unbiased while writing this answer and I just love good cricket.

We will compare both by some of records and impact index they have in their current career and it will become clear in the next few things that who is better and in which format.

This puts him way behind Virat Kohli who is great match winner and record chaser. Kohli has second most number of hundreds and he is not even 30 yet. He is rated really high by likes of SIR VIVIAN RICHARDS , RICKY PONTING ,SUNIL GAVASKAR etc.

2. Virat tem sido ótimo quando se trata de capitania e levou seu recorde para o próximo nível mas Root falhou em entregar durante a capitania pode ser devido à responsabilidade adicional em seus ombros (embora ele esteja nos primeiros dias de sua capitania).

3. Assim como em ODIs JOE ROOT não foi capaz de levantar sua taxa de conversão. Ele tem uma taxa de conversão ainda pior do que um dia de jogo.

4. Virat elevou sua carreira de teste nos últimos dois anos, ou seja, 2016 e 2017. Ele agora foi testado mesmo em superfícies verdes como a África do Sul, onde esteve no seu próprio campeonato. O seu próximo teste foi em INGLATERRA, onde foi testado e enterrou os seus demónios de INGLATERRA. Já marcou 440 EM 3 jogos até agora com 2 toneladas.

3. T20s.

Não há necessidade de comparação neste formato, pois o VIRAT está muito à frente de qualquer jogador neste formato até agora em termos de média , prêmios MoM e perseguição.

VIRAT é o primeiro jogador a alcançar uma média superior a 50s no Cricket T20 ( embora Babar Azam tenha actualmente 53.00 ) e tem um registo espantoso neste formato
