I believe the show’s writers were referring to censorship. George Carlin had a routine called “the 7 words you can’t say on television” which was extended to 15, then 20 something. It’s now at around sixty-eight. If you take out the ones that refer to parts SpongeBob doesn’t have: cock, blow job, bust a nut; and then further reduce by racial slurs that wouldn’t exist at the bottom of the ocean: camel jockey, chink…
