First, confirm if your unlimited plan includes HBO

If you have one of these unlimited plans, you get HBO Max

included with it. But, you might have to activate it on your account first. Not sure which plan you have? Check your account to view your current plan.

1. Download and open the HBO Max app. Or, if you have AT&T TV:Look for the app on your device; it's already there.Go to channel 190 or 500 to access the app from the Guide.
2. Select Sign In (or try to play a show or movie). You should see a 6-digit code on your screen.
3. Go to hbomax.com/tvsignin from a web browser.
4. Enter the 6-digit code when prompted, and then select Next.
5. Go to the app and choose SIGN IN THROUGH TV OR MOBILE PROVIDER.
6. Do you have Apple TV and get free HBO Max access because of your TV service with AT&T? Then tap Allow. If not, tap Don’t Allow.
7. Choose AT&T.
8. Enter the AT&T user ID and password for the wireless account associated with HBO Max.
9. Select Sign in. You should see HBO Max load on your AT&T TV screen.
10. If it’s your first time signing in, create your HBO Max profile. It may take up to 1 minute.
11. Choose your watcher’s profile to start streaming.
