What is your review of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child? Do you think it’s a good story?

I don’t believe it’s good

So a couple weeks ago, I decided to go back and review Cursed Child. The last time I read it was at least five years ago, so I thought maybe I would like it since I was older. I was totally wrong. Here are my thoughts I wrote down in my notes when reading the books

Thoughts from reading cursed child

Act 1

• Harry’s 37 in this dang, I thought he was older
• Why am I picturing them with American accents ?
• Lily is so annoying
• Ron sucks I hate him
• where tf is Hugo
• Ron sucks
• Ginny and Hermione are alright they actually feel like their characters in the books, they aren’t annoying
• Rose is low key snobby
• Update I hate Rose she is mean
• AHAHAH THE STUPID RUMOR
• Poor albus, him and Scorpius are very cute characters
• Why is Harry signing autographs if he never would’ve done that in the Original series
• Ahaha I hate Harry
• Why is rose so rude to Scorpius and Albus omg, sis I-
• Dang albus is kinda annoying to Harry. He is very angsty
• I’ve read better FanFiction
• Ron is so irrelevant in this play, he deserves better
• This would look so cool on stage I bet the tech is insane. Especially with the magic
• This feels like a fanfic
• AHAHAH IT MENTIONS HUGO BUT HES NEVER IN IT
• Delphi is a knock off Tonks but more uncool
• Amos is so unfair to Harry, Harry lost loved ones too.
• Did I say how much I hate Ron?
• Why did Ron give albus a love potion ?
• Did I mention hate cursed child Ron
• AHAHA I LOVE MY MAN ALBUS BEING SARCASTIC TO HARRY
• I know Harry would NEVER say he wish albus wasn’t his son, a parent would never do that
• Ginny is good , she seems like a great mother and wife, we stan her
• Ginny defending albus and getting annoyed at Harry for saying “I just wish he was more like James or lily” is great. We stan a good parent
• I really want to see cursed child on stage
• Scorpius is so dorky
• why is the trolley witch a weird monster thing
• WHY DID SHE THROW THE PUMPKIN PASTY AS A GRENADE
• Ok but Ron is a pretty good husband and father
• Why is everyone blaming Harry for cedrics death, Harry could do nothing. He has no blood on his hands
• Scorpius and Albus are so dumb wanting to time travel
• How did they get the hairs of Harry Ron and Hermione
• I love Ginny
• Everyone else sucks
• I also decently like Hermiones, she’s pretty good
• I HATE THIS GODDAMN POLYJUICE POTION THING
• AHAHA ALBUS KISSES HIS AUNT ON THE LIPS I HATE THIS AHAHA THATS SOME WEIRD CRAP. Rip Hermione if she knew
• Umm anyway I hate albus
• I also hate how they portray Romione
• Did I mention once how much I despise how they portrayed Ron
• Did the writers actually read the books. I truly think they just watched the movies. Rons only personality traits is “being funny” and “food”. I want to throw my book across the room. It has taken ages to read part 1
• Scorpius is so cute I love him
• I hate time travel
• Harry is a awful father
• Harry would never disrespect McGonagall. He had so much respect for her I-
• Scorpius deserves better than albus
• I hate every character expect Scorpius, Ginny and sometimes Hermione.

Act 2

• Voldemort day sounds so lame, why couldn’t they pick a cooler name
• I low key like how umbridge is headmistress
• AHAHHA this feels like a fanfic
• Why would Cedric become a death eater because he was humiliated over the triwizard tournament
• I hate this book
• AHAHAH HERMIONE IN THE DYSTOPIAN WORLD AS A COOL WARRIOR CHARACTER IS MAKING ME LOOSE IT, I HATE THIS
• Also spiked hair Ron is making me loose it as well.
• This book sucks
• WHY IS RON THE DUMB COMIC RELIF I SWEAR
• Ummm anyway this dystopian world feels like a FanFiction
• I want to vomit when reading this
• Even this book hates Ron ahahah
• Why are they making us sympathize with snape. We never were supposed to, his character is so off
• This book does have some pretty cringy Romione scenes but I have read better Romione fanfictions
• The Patronus scenes would look incredible on stage. That tech would be so cool
• Why would Hermione hide the time turner in a book case.
• Scorpius is the only sane person. Destroying the time turner is the best option
• The amount of plot holes in this book is insane
• Voldemort and Bellatrix being Delphi’s parents is so hilarious.
• Albus is so dumb
• I hate Ron, why is he always eating in the stupid play and movies
• Ok but act three, scene seventeen is low key cute for Romione. Thank god
• so far act three is bad but not awful
• Ron is so stupid, he has one brain cell in this play. I’m not okay
• McGonagall never stuttered PERIODT
• I HATE RON SO GODDAMN MUCH AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH HELP ME
• these lines are ?‍♀️✨disgusting✨?‍♀️
• Rip Harry for feeling guilty for everyone’s deaths. Shout out to Ginny to comforting him
• Ginny is so cute, I love her so much in this play
• Haha I hate this
• I like how Harry nicknames Ginny “Gin”
• It feels more like a fanfic with Harry turning into Voldemort
• The magic fight scenes would look so cool on stage
• Why would Scorpius want to ask our rose, she is rude as hell to him and she is snobby i-
