How to run two WhatsApp accounts in a dual SIM Android device

You can do this in three methods

Method 1

Use parallel space app, you can get that from playstore.

1. Install WhatsApp on your phone. You will see WhatsApp app inside parallel space
2. Register with one number in WhatsApp inside parallel space
3. Register with another number in WhatsApp outside parallel space app
4. Now you can use 2 WhatsApp numbers on your phone

Disadvantage

1. Separate app required

Method 2

This method doesn't any app

1. Install WhatsApp on owner account and register with one number
2. Switch to guest account in user setting
3. Now install WhatsApp in guest mode and register with another number

Disadvantages

1. As guest mode is restricted from accessing the owner account data, you can't see WhatsApp messages received in Owner account when you are in Guest account
2. Some of the phone manufacturers have removed user mode in their devices

Method 3

WhatsApp has released WhatsApp business, you can use that to use two accounts on same device

1. Install WhatsApp and register with one number
2. Install WhatsApp Business and register with another number
