Vale a pena comprar um Kindle básico da Amazon na Índia por 7.999 INR em 2021?

O Kindle (10ª geração) é muito mais difícil de recomendar do que o seu predecessor. A nossa maior preocupação é o seu preço. Em Rs. 7,999, pensamos que o Kindle (10ª Gen) tem um preço exagerado porque só a luz frontal não é suficiente para justificar o Rs. 2,000 de prémio sobre o seu predecessor. O antigo Kindle Paperwhite (que desde então foi descontinuado) foi lançado a Rs. 10.999, mas ainda em janeiro deste ano estava disponível para Rs. 8.499 à venda.

We can't help but wonder whether it would have been a better strategy for Amazon to keep the old Paperwhite around at a discount price in India instead than launch this model, because its superior screen would have been worth the premium. No entanto, o Kindle (10ª geração) não tem't tem características suficientes para justificar o aumento de preço. The lack of Audible support in India even after the launch of the service here is also disappointing.

If you're okay with paying a premium just for the front light, the Kindle (10th Gen) won't disappoint you. However, most people could just get the lower priced Kindle at Rs. 5,999 along with an affordable clip-on light attachment (such as this or this). It might not be elegant solution but it does the same thing at a lower price
