Como calcular ln(4) sem calculadora

Estritamente sem calculadora - quatro formas diferentes:

Primeira forma:

[matemática]|log_e[/math] 4 = 2 * ([matemática]|log_{10}[/math] 2) / ([matemática]} \log_{10}[/math] e)

Se você sabe que [matemática]\log_{10}[/math] 2 [matemática]{ /math] 0.301 e [matemática]{10}[/math] e [matemática]{ /math] 0,434, você pode usar a divisão longa ... cerca de 1,387. (Ok, eu guardo informações inúteis na minha cabeça sobre esses números.)

[Alternativamente, você também poderia fazer [matemática]\log_e[/math] 4 = 2 * ([matemática]\log_{10}[/math] 2) * ([matemática]\log_e[/math] 10) e [matemática]\log_e[/math] 10 [matemática]\log_e[/math] 2.3. Então arredondando.... 2 * 0.3 * 2.3 * 2.3 = 1.38.]

Fourth way, slide rule!

Notice I made a green box about where you should look: Ln é o lado do log natural e L é o lado [matemática]{10}[/math]. (Como mencionei anteriormente, [matemática]{10}[/math] 4 = 2 * [matemática]{10}[/math] 2 [matemática]{ /math] 2 * 0.301 [matemática]{ /math] 0.602. Então você iguala 0.6 no lado L e o Ln correspondente é apenas cerca de 1.4.
